i am thinking about starting training, for the United States Armed Forces, probably Army. after all, i want to help this country, fighting off the threats overseas. wont be long till i can join. if there is a war out, i hope to be ready. just wait, there could be a new general in the family!

if i could go to any country on earth for free, i would go to Japan. it seems like an interesting place. good education, smart people, cool technology, wonderful food, anime and so much more. But, then i might not come back to the U.S. (really)

maybe general in my family

i am trying to find some of my past family. so far i can't put my finger on it but, i might be related to a general during the civil war and possibly american-mexican war. i might be, i might not be, but i believe i heard a while ago that a relative of mine named john ward fought in the revolutionary war, i looked it up, and found john henry ward. (his grandfather was john ward, a veteran of the revolutionary war) john henry ward became a general and was wounded several times, he appearently had disipline issues and a drinking problem, which cost him leadership, i've read.  he was wounded several times, a soldier till he was apparantly let go due to his problems. they just let him go i guess. a general that i might be related to.  he was killed by a train, ironically another one of my relatives worked on a railroad, i've been told. i  might have more info later. oh, and i also found a general william thomas ward.  he might have been in the same 2 wars i believe. he might be related too.
